Patches
Patches was a beautiful Calico with a personality that warmed everyone's heart. She accepted everyone, people and cats alike. Patches was a stray and invited herself to her new owners home. They accepted her with welcome arms for they were already in love with their five other cats and one more wouldn't be a problem. They took Patches to the vet to have her shots and spayed. They also had her tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids, hoping she would be negative as their other kitties were negative. But...Patches test results showed positive for Feline Leukemia, so they called me to see if there was any room for her with our other feline kitties. We did have an opeining and her parents were so happy, they did not want to "put her down". Patches came to live with our other Feline Leukemia kittes and her human parents visited her often and brought her food and treats. As with a lot of Feline Leukemia kitties, her teeth began to deteriorate and she had to have dental surgery. The surgery went well and she recoverd quickly. Later on that year she caught a virus and wasn't able to over come it. Patches was 3 years young when she left for the Rainbow Bridge to be with her other friends. We miss you Patches.
